First Team All-District Team

Wirth all of the Spring sports schedule coming to an abrupt halt due to the spread of the COVID-19 virus and the fact that the District 28-5A girls soccer schedule being one or two games away from completing their schedule, the respective district girls head coaches got together to select the 2019-2020 all-district selections. The C.C. Winn Lady Mavericks varsity girls soccer team under the direction od head coach Abel De Los Santos had six players selected to the 2019-2020 all district soccer squad.

Leading the Way for the Lady Mavericks was Valerie Hernandez who was the lone Lady Maverick selected to the elite first team while teammates Haziel Mata and Ximena Castro were chosen to the all-district second team with Adamary Guerra, Leslie Carmona and Victoria Hernandez were selected to the Honorable Mention squad. Eagle Pass Sports Central congratulates these six talented student/athletes on their most deserving honor in being selected to the 2019-2020 District 28-5A all-district girls soccer team and we wish each of you continued success in all of your future endeavors. Way to Go Lady Mavericks!
