The Eagle Pass High Scholl varsity boys and girls cross country teams mentored by head coach Juan Gonzalez ventured to College Station, Texas on Saturday, September 23, 2017 to participate in the highly competitive Texas AM Invitational Cross Country Meet.  The highly touted and youthful Lady Eagles varsity girls finished fourth out of 27 teams in the overall team competition with a total of 189 points led by the talented Shanya Luna who came in 11th individually out of over150 runners with a time of 19:32.  The Eagles varsity boys placed 8th in the overall team competition out of 28 teams with a total of 335 points.  Standout Nathan Kowalski led the varsity boys finished 10th individually out of nearly 200 runners with a time of 16:14

Our Varsity and top JV Team will be attending the Nike South Invitational in The Woodlands Texas this upcoming weekend. The other Junior Varsity Squads and Jr. High Teams will attend the Southwest Texas Jr. College Cross Country Meet held in Uvalde on Saturday.
