The powerful Lady Mavericks then proceeded to bring an early conclusion to this game with a huge eight run output in the bottom of the fourth inning by a booming fence rattling three RBI triple off the bat of pinch hitter Ana Lopez. McCollum went down quietly in the top of the fifth enabling the Lady Mavericks to come away with the dominating 13 to 1 victory via the 10-run rule with Angie Escamilla taking the pitching victory hurling five complete innings allowing just one run and scattered four harmless hits on the night.
